i’ve looked at the city, letting my gaze dance, counting the meters left to reach your home. does this path work? is it subject to rules and utility? it helps me change the rhythm of my steps in the face of the city’s rapid growth, a compact and gradual growth, opening me up to intermediate spaces that have caused a definitive or temporary rupture in the city’s boundaries. that is why i look at these provisional and procedural spaces. in a seemingly scattered way, just as they appear, i gather these fragments to bring together the encounters a relationship between architecture, construction projects, and matter.
